Song of the Day: January 8

Dear Sing Alongers:

It came to my attention this past weekend that some of you thought that I would be sharing recordings of me singing a song every day.  While I am totally flattered I realize that I owe you an apology for not making it clear that the point of this website is for you to sing a song every day.  I believe in the power of music, and singing in particular, to change our moods.  So, let me reiterate:  singing will make you feel good and I am here to spread the joy.  And, let’s face it, no one does “Do Re Mi” better than Dame Julie Andrews — and with your voice added to the mix it will be pure bliss! 🙂 Enjoy!

P.S. I will be sharing some recordings of me singing – which, by the way, are available under “Suzanne’s Music” and “Suzanne’s Videos” on the top menu of this website.  Thanks so much to those of you who asked!

January 8: “Do Re Mi” (a.k.a. “Do a Deer”) from “The Sound of Music” (which you should watch tonight).  Here’s a lyric video, too.  (Remember: I can’t control the ads on youtube without a lot of rigamarole, so please pay attention if you’re watching with kids.)  LYRICS SPOTIFY
