Oh, Suzanne, this song means a lot to me! I’m pretty shocked to see it as your song of the day because I learned it somewhere (Jewish camp? Religious school?) during my childhood and learned to play it on the guitar as a teen. (One of the very few songs I could play and I knew it by heart!) I had no idea it was ever recorded by Joan Baez. Today, it was not only a treat to sing along to it, but it made me realize a deep appreciation for my parents having sent me to Jewish camps as a child and teen. Xoxo
